Kelly B. Jones is a Thai/Welsh actress based in Southeast Asia. Born in Singapore, raised in Hong Kong and Bangkok; and having spent some time in Sydney, Australia – she has a very diverse background enabling her to portray mutiple nationalities on screen and on stage.

Kelly began her career in musical theatre as a teen, then after studying Media and Film-making, she delved into the realm of film. Kelly has starred in international feature films such as Death of Me (alongside Maggie Q) and The Marine 2 as well as in Cinemax TV series, Strike Back (season 7). She was highly reviewed for her work on stage with theatre company, Peel the Limelight, particularly with lead roles like Paulina from Ariel Dorfman’s “Death and the Maiden”. You will also see Kelly in TV Commercials for Ford, Uber, BMW, Amazon, Stelara and Pepsodent.

Known for her charismatic voice, Kelly is also a seasoned voiceover artist having dubbed numerous feature films, such as Ip Man 2 as well as popular Chinese TV drama, My Sunshine. She has also voiced (and directed) characters for animated series such as “Sea of Love”,  “Mask Masters”, “Flying with Byrd’ and popular video games such as Dead Effect 2, World of Tanks and Araya VR.

During the pandemic, Kelly recently explored a new theatrical platform in VR, starring as Molly in The Severance Theory’s immersive show, Welcome to Respite, featured in Venice Film Festival, Kaohsiung Film Festival and Raindance.  She hopes to continue exploring this new platform in more VR performances to come. She is currently incorporating her wealth of experience into the ever expanding VR industry and proactively taking steps towards merging the conventional approach to production with the limitless possibilities of XR.

With over twenty years in the entertainment industry, she have amassed a wealth of experience across a multitude of roles and industries. Having worked on many projects from high profile film/animation productions, commercial advertisements, to online marketing campaigns and strategic creative direction, Kelly is a dynamic producer and creative thinker. Her focus has been working with passionate people and bringing their stories to life. A unique approach to production has led her to be an experienced leader, strong communicator and a skilled collaborator who sees the big picture.

Aside from acting in short films, features and in theatre, Kelly is also a prominent host and presents for TV, videos and events including the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards virtual gala series and the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit: Virtual Edition.
