Vietnam accelerates clean, sustainable energy development

At the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change in December last year, Vietnam officially announced its resource mobilisation plan to implement the Political Declaration on establishing the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). VietnamPlus reports that the move underscored the country’s commitment to clean energy development, aiming for a future of net-zero emissions and sustainable growth.

JETP was endorsed by Vietnam and international partners at the ASEAN-EU Commemorative Summit in Brussels, Belgium, in December 2022.
